I've been on an epic quest to find out what the hell is wrong with my head. My CT scan (not MRI-- I was mistaken about that) ruled out chronic sinusitis. Now they think it may be rhinitis. I had an allergy test scheduled for next Wednesday, and was instructed not to take any antihistamines for 10 days prior to the appointment. Which has been Hell on toast, because this spring has been particularly bad for allergies. My head feels like it's about to cave in, and I've been so dizzy I can barely stand. I have been completely miserable for the last four days. This is my one real day off this week, and I've spent most of it in bed wishing for death.

But I just got a phone call from the allergist's office, rescheduling my appointment for June 20th. On one hand, this sucks, because I'll have to ask my manager to reschedule my day off and I have to wait longer to find out what the hell is wrong with me, but on the other hand THANK TINKERBELL JEEBUS!!! I am going to go have a big bowl of Benadryl RIGHT NOW.

Wow! Two posts in one day!

I ganked this from [livejournal.com profile] bellabelball, who ganked it from [livejournal.com profile] larielromeniel:

Go here. Keep refreshing until you've collected five quotes that really resonate with you, then post them to your journal.

Here are mine:

Don't you wish there was a knob on the TV to turn up the intelligence? There's one marked 'Brightness,' but it doesn't work. --Gallagher

It's very hard to take yourself too seriously when you look at the world from outer space. --Thomas K. Mattingly II

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. --Theodore Roosevelt (1858 - 1919)

A good book has no ending. --R. D. Cumming

I find the whole business of religion profoundly interesting. But it does mystify me that otherwise intelligent people take it seriously. --Douglas Adams (1952 - 2001), Salmon of Doubt, 2002
